Generation Farming Enterprise

Our agricultural and production management systems aim promote sustainable production of food of optimum quality and quantity. The principles and methods employed result in practices which coexist with, rather than dominate, natural systems. Our aims are too:

Sustain and/or build soil fertility; Minimize pollution and damage to the environment; Minimize the use of non-renewable resources; Ensure the ethical treatment of animals; Avoiding the use of genetically modified organisms; Protect and enhance the farm environment with particular regards to conservation and wildlife; Consider the wider social and ecological impact of agricultural systems; Maintain or develop valuable existing landscape features and adequate habitats for maintenance of wildlife with particular regard to endangered species.

We currently focus on rearing natural grass fed cattle breeds including: Charolet, Nguni, Bonsmara and Thuli.
